3.5.1.2. Transfer of .UA, .COM.UA, .ORG.UA, IN.UA domains and some 2nd level regional domains
Important points:
- Attention! The registrant's contact details (current domain owner) must match the owner details and account type to which the transfer is being made.
- A .UA domain transfer can only be performed to an account registered to the trademark owner. If the domain transfer must be made to an account that is not registered to the trademark owner, then a license contract must be concluded between the trademark owner and the account owner.
- Before submitting a transfer request for a domain, the status
clientTransferProhibitedmust not be set, as it blocks the transfer. You can check the current status using WHOIS. - The transfer cost includes a 1-year renewal. However, this renewal will be carried out only if the maximum domain delegation period of 10 years is not exceeded after this operation is completed.
- Only the current registrar (the one transferring the domain) can speed up the transfer process.
Before transferring a .UA domain, it is recommended to verify your account.

Procedure
Prepare domain for transfer
- On the current domain registrar's side, enter your details in the registrant's (current domain owner's) contact information and open this information in the registry. If for some reason the information cannot be opened, request an additional password from the registrant's contact from the registrar.
- Notify your current registrar that you want to transfer the domain to our company:
- Registrar ID —
ua.ukraine. - Legal name —
Hosting Ukraine LLC.
- Request the domain transfer code from your current registrar — Auth-Code.
Submit transfer request
- Make sure that the domain is prepared for transfer.
- Open the transfer request form using any of the following methods:
- On the "Domain transfer" page, enter the domain name and click "Start domain transfer".
- Enter the domain name, the transfer code (Auth-Code), and click "Next".
- To transfer multiple domains, use the "Add domain" button.
- Review the transfer terms and conditions, then click "Transfer".
- If the domain contacts are hidden, you must either unhide them with your current registrar or request a password from your current registrar to view them, and then enter it in the "Contact password" field.
- Check the information in your account against the information in the domain contacts and make sure they match.
- Wait until the domain administrator verifies the data and issues an invoice for the domain transfer:
- On business days, invoices are issued within one or more hours between 10:00 and 18:00.
- On non-working days — 1-2 times a day.
- Pay the invoice issued for the domain transfer. When the payment is credited, a corresponding notification will be sent to the account email.
- If the contact details of the domain registrant and account owner match, a domain transfer request will be sent to the registry after the funds for the invoice have been received.
Domain transfer takes 5-6 days. Once the transfer is complete, a notification will be sent to your account email.
